Painting Workshop
Last year I took an oil painting workshop with the artist Shawn Barber. This was a still life I set up to paint. I never finished the painting but took this photo to work off of. I definitely love the photo better than my painting.
Taco Truck
In Silverlake there is this taco truck on the corner of Alvarado and Sunset. They make wonderful carne asada sopes. I usually order three of them. Sooooo good. I was waiting for my order one late evening and shot this on my phone.
The spider on my balcony...
I took this picture on my phone one afternoon. It was an overcast day and I had stepped outside on my balcony to smoke a cigarette and almost walked right into the web. I never identified the spider. It hung out for two more days, until I finally took two plastic cups and captured it and set it free on the front lawn downstairs. The reason why I did that was to please this bossy French girl I was seeing at the time, who had told me if I didn't remove the spider she wasn't gonna stay over. I regretted it the moment I did it. Seeing this girl went south shortly after. Who would've thought? I miss my spider friend.

PVR in March
In Downtown Puerto Vallarta Mexico with my friend Jes. We were roaming around exploring and drinking tequila and beer. I told her to stand in the middle of the street for this photo. What I found intriguing about the second photo was my silly reflection and Jes' fingerprints on her sunglasses.
Screeching Weasel. Nokia Club 9-19-10
Ben Foster. Amazing man. I tattooed him earlier that day before this show. He got his twin daughters names, Lydia & Colette, and their date of birth on his right arm. I must have taken over 100 photos at the show. This was my favorite one, and Ben's favorite as well. He used it as his Twitter profile photo.
The Double Rainbow.
I jumped up out of my chair while I was tattooing a client of mine at the shop to take this photo. It was late february of this year and I had just gone through a breakup. So this had some sort of meaning or significance to me that my life was about to be a lot more joyful. The people in the photo had pulled over in a red zone and hopped out of their car to do the same.
